Rosalee Collins Pierson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rosalee Collins Pierson of Oak Hill, West Virginia, who passed away on January 3, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Collins and Alta Keener-Collins; her husband Dana Pierson; her son Dana "Frank" Pierson; and her siblings, Carl Collins, Shirley Bower, Janith "Janet" Sponagule, Norma Campbell, Charles and Carol Fakette.
She is survived by: her children, Gene (Patti Pierson) of Dexter, KY, Marlena (Ronnie Fox) of Fayetteville, WV and Diane Redden of Statesville, NC; her daughter-in-law Nancy Pierson-Grosz of Lake Wales, FL; her grandchildren, Arik (Stephanie Fraley) of Statesville, NC, Misty Dawn (Billy Jones) of Winter Haven, FL, David Redden of Statesville, NC, Aaron Redden of Statesville, NC, Amanda (Ben Dove) of Fayetteville, WV, Adam Pierson of Bardwell, KY and Ryan Fox of Fayetteville, WV; and her great grandchildren, Aidyn Pierson, Kinzlee Dove, JJ Jones, Conner Pierson and Claire Fox. She is also survived by children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren she will be missed by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Due to current COVID Restrictions and for the safety of family and friends, a Memorial Service will be held in her honor on her birthday May 1, 2021, at a location to be decided at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southern WV at 454 Cranberry Drive Beckley WV 25801.
