He was predeceased by: his parent Marion Carte; and his brothers, Franklin Carte and Kenneth Carte. He is survived by: his wife Rose Zimmerman Carte; his children, Mindy Carte, Kevin Carte (Sherrie Cox) and Travis Carte (Shelia); his grandchildren, Seth, DeWayne, Wyatt, Devon, Travis and Tinsley; and his siblings, Eilene Campbell and Donald Carte.
