It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond H. Lokant (Oak Hill, West Virginia), born in Minden, West Virginia, who passed away on December 2, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Hugo Lokant, Sr. and Mary Gilkey Lokant; and his brother Lawrence Lokant. He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Margaret Lokant, Carl H. Lokant Jr., Robert Lokant, Mary Virginia Peters and Patsy Jean Lokant; his wife Helen Joyce Renkovish Lokant; his children, Rev. Pete Lokant (Carla) of Oak Hill, Becky Perdue (Mike) of Oak Hill, Jennie Simms (Connie) of Oak Hill, Debbie Garvin (John) of Oak Hill and Dave Lokant (Lori) of Oak Hill; his grandchildren, Leah Evans, Jeff Lokant, Michael Lokant, Joey Lokant, Amy Crosier, Heather Elder, Stacy Koch, Jeremy Simms, Angela Garvin, Dr. Matthew Lokant, Joshua Lokant and Bradley Lokant; and his sisters, Linda Osterkamp of Ypsilanti and Sherry Ellison of Oak Hill. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
