He was predeceased by: his mother Emma Lou Thomas; his grandparents, Andrew and Allie B. Thomas; and his sister Oretha Korhone (Big Bit). He is survived by: his wife Bessie Thomas of Oak Hill; his children, Phil Thomas II (Brandy) of Oak Hill, Shenia Thompson of Charlottesville, Virginia and Sherain Bruce (Isaiah) of Douglasville, Georgia; his grandchildren, Damaria, Braylan, Johnny, Gabrielle, Landon, Phoenix and Isaiah; his siblings, Linda Mack (Dennis), Bobby Thomas (Jessica), Aletha Thomas, Kevin Thomas, Eric Thomas (Tina) and Shirley Bizjak (John); his aunts, Brenda Thomas and Ann Mitchell; and his uncle Ernest Thomas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, gloves, masks and social distancing will be required to attend the service.
