She was predeceased by: her parents, Trenton Tyree and Violet Tyree; her grandparents, Clyde and Nettie Harler of Kincaid; her husband Theodore Kania Sr.; and her son John Kania.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Bays (John) of Vinore, Tenn, Ted Kania Jr. (Claudia) of Oak Hill, WV and Anthony Kania Sr. (Deana) of Scarbro, WV.; and her parents-in-law, Debra Kania, Kim Jarman (Chris) of Felicity, OH, Valerie Holt (Jack) of Oak Hill, WV and Mike Kania (Misty) of Scarbro, WV.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ss Peter and Paul Catholic Church (129 Elmore St, Oak Hill, WV 25901). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the High Lawn Memorial Park (1435 Main St E, Oak Hill, WV 25901).
