She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lucas and Ada Fitzgerald Lucas; her husband James "Bud" P. King; her daughter Rose Mary Christian; her son-in-law William "Jocko" Booth III; and her siblings, Sydney Lucas, Gloria Meeks and Ruth Dunn.
She is survived by: her daughter Becky Booth; her grandchildren, Amy Beth Hunt, Brook Stephens (Scotty) and Kerby Wolfe (Shawn); her great grandchildren, Eason Hunt, Brady Hunt, Addison Stephens, Ty Stephens, Brogan Wolfe and Seth Wolfe; and her son-in-law Butch Christian.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Tyree Funeral Home- Oak Hill (999 Jones Ave, Oak Hill, WV 25901). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 2:45 PM to 3:00 PM at the High Lawn Memorial Park (1435 Main St E, Oak Hill, WV 25901).
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Carrie Beth Bowling Scholarship Fund.
