It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marcella Garvin (Oak Hill, West Virginia), born in Bradshaw, West Virginia, who passed away on March 24, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Hendrix and Esther McCoy Hendrix; her stepfather Enoch Adkins; her sister Eula R. Szuch; her brother-in-law Steve Szuch; her son-in-law Donald Channell; and her great-nephew Stephen Dixon.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pam Channell of Mount Clare and Melody McClung (Fred) of Beckley; her grandchildren, Shelly Channell (Luke) of Clarksburg and Larry Whitmore (Patricia); and her great grandchildren, Hailey Whitmore, Madison Hankins, Natalee Rice, Lauren Rice, Lance Rice and Noah Whitmore.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Jones Avenue First Church of God, PO Box 104, Oak Hill, WV 25901.
