We are sad to announce that on December 19, 2020, at the age of 84, Loretta Hinte Kemlock Swanigan (Oak Hill, West Virginia), born in Lochgelly, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Hinte and Lola Brown Hinte; her former husband Mike Anthony Kemlock; her husband Roy Swanigan; and her siblings, George, Jackie, Herman Hinte Jr., Everett, Clifford, Gordon, William Hinte and Rachel Mercer.
She is survived by: her son Michael Lee Kemlock (Anita) of Oak Hill; her grandsons, Aaron Kemlock (Jodie Renick Kemlock) of Oak Hill and Jacob Kemlock (Samantha Gregory) of Henderson, NV; her great grandchildren, Brandt, Blake and Brynne Kemlock of Oak Hill; and her sister Madeline Harris of Parkersburg. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Those planning to attend should use proper COVID 19 precautions by wearing masks and maintaining social distancing of 6 feet.
In lieu of flowers, the family would ask contributions be made to the New River Humane Society, 513 Shelter Rd, Fayetteville, WV 25840.
