Junior Moss Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Junior Moss of Oak Hill, West Virginia, born in Wallback, West Virginia, who passed away on February 5, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil J. Moss and Lona Hunt Moss; his wife Mary Daugherty; his siblings, Noel, Darrell and Madeline Ramsey; and his grandson Christopher.
He is survived by: his siblings, Norman and Carolyn Griffin of Hartville, OH; his sons, Steven C. (Kathy) of Oak Hill, Samuel L. of Greensboro, NC and Stuart Alan (Elizabeth) of St. Albans; his grandchildren, Jane Toney (Jonathan) of Poquoson, VA, Ethan and Romeo Moss of St. Albans; and his great grandchild Jace Toney of Poquoson.
Due to the current pandemic restrictions, there will be no visitation. Family members observing COVID-19 protocols will gather for a private service on Saturday, February 13th at 11:00am at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Southern WV (PO Box 1472, Beckley, WV 25802), the Fayette Plateau Ministerial Association Food Pantry (250 Central Avenue, Oak Hill, WV 25901), or the New River Humane Society (513 Shelter Road, Fayetteville, WV 25840).
