He is survived by: his sons, John Alexander III (Kristie) and Michael Alexander (Kathy); his grandchildren, Keylie Alexander, Kourtney Alexander and Jacoby Alexander; his caregiver Debbie Persinger; and his siblings, Peggy Broughman and Walter Ed Alexander (Judy).
