It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Dell Stowers of Oak Hill, West Virginia, who passed away on July 3, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Smith and Marjorie "Sap" Valentine Smith; and her brothers, David Ray Smith and Donald Gene Smith. She is survived by: her husband Larry E. Stowers; her children, Larry Stowers (Doug) of Fayetteville, Becky Gullett (Danny) of Hico, Dan Stowers (Kim) of Oak Hill and Niki Stowers of Oak Hill; and her grandchildren, Molly, Ciera, Rheaghan, Wesley, Maddy and Marcus.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations of sympathy be made to the Hospice of Southern West Virginia 454 Cranberry Drive Beckley, West Virginia 25801.
