He was predeceased by: his parents, Emory Richmond and Jessie Stanley Richmond; and his wife Deborah Wriston Richmond. He is survived by: his daughter Stephanie Thomas (Jack); his stepson Ralph Hamilton; his grandchildren, Kailey Thomas, Alicia Hamilton and Brayden Thomas; and his sister Linda Richmond.
