He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Grimmett and Leona Grimmett; his siblings, Gene, Ralph, Fred Grimmett, Helen Layaou and Evelyn Novobilsky; and his son Mark Grimmett.
He is survived by: his wife Corina Callahan Grimmett; his daughters, Diana Janney (John) of Oak Hill, Cathy Joines (Bryan) of Fayetteville and Sue Puckett (John) of Oak Hill; his grandsons, Brad (Angie Surface), Jeff (Katie Janney), Dustin (Courtney Fowler), John (Felicia Puckett), Nicholas (Alex Grimmett) and Andy Callahan; and his great grandchildren, Madison, Emily, Bradley Surface, Kamdyn Fowler and Raven Joines.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Bowers Hospice House or Gideons International.
