She was predeceased by: her parents, August Roat and Sadie Goodwin Roat; and her siblings, Catherine Dozier, George W. Roat, Louis Roat, Margaret Dorsey, Edna Bennett, Wanda Balser, Mary Dorsey, Esther Roat and Freddie Roat.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Stevens; her children, James, Jackie Roberts, Jr. (Elizabeth Widner), Tammy Dunn (David Pearson) and Debbie Fannin (Jim); her grandchildren, Nathan Roberts (Misty) and Natalie; and her sister Elizabeth Myers. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
