She was predeceased by: her parents, Garvis Chester Matheny and Gwennia Warwick Matheny Spradlin; her husband Richard Underwood; and her brothers, Douglas Wayne Matheny, Phillip "Mike" Matheny, Chester Dean Matheny, Gary "Joe" Matheny, Roger Jeffery Matheny and Preston Lee Matheny.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeremiah Dove and David Heath Dove; her grandchildren, Amanda Opal Dove, Heather Gwendolyn Dove, Layla Dove and Jamison Aboulhouda; her sisters, Barbara Jo Chambers, Rebecca E. "Becky" Sumpter, June Johnson, Janice Sumpter and Debra S. "Debbie" Cataldi; and her friends, Debbie and Farrah Aboulhouda. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
