He is survived by: his wife Naomi R. Painter; his sons, David F. Painter II (Darla) and Dale A. Painter; and his sisters, Brenda Powers (Tom), Shirley Schultz of Orlando, FL and Stella Snyder (Bob). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson.
