He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Allen and Nettie Allen (Wygal); his wife Shirley Ann Dawson Allen; and his siblings, Jerry Allen, Billy Allen and Ruby Marsh.
He is survived by: his children, Charles E. "Chuck" Allen (Lynette), Stephanie Allen and Jennifer Pearce; and his grandchildren, Brittini Babb (Phillip), Heather Gallo (Nicholas), Amber Parker (Brady) and Nicholas Pearce. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
