He was predeceased by: his parents, Nancy Munce and Herbert E. Jones; his wife Mary Ellen Bell Jones; his son Nelson Jones; and his siblings, Herbert E. Jones and Adeline J. Voorhees.
He is survived by: his former wife Anna Marie Nelson; his children, Laura N. Jones Pray (David), Tandy Jones (Alison) and Jennifer H. Jones; his grandchildren, Joshua P. Pray (Judy), Rece W. Lynn Nester (William), Everett J. O'Flaherty and Anna Elaine; and his great grandchildren, Zoe Marie Pray, Ellie Marie Pray, Adelyn May Nester and Virginia Jones Nester.
