He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Riser and Louise Riser (Rice); and his siblings, James Wilbur Riser and Nancy Sue Stover (Riser). He is survived by: his wife Margot Riser (Ward); his sons, Charles Edward Riser, Jr. and Lewis James Riser; his grandchildren, Matthew Grant Riser, Jesse Wayne Riser, Jarred Dean Riser and Samuel James Riser; his great grandchild Aubrey Lynn Riser; his cousin Carol "Sis" Lester (Keith); his nephew Jay Riser; and his nieces, Beckley Ferguson, Donna Carrington and Teresa Gosling.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Carlisle Church of God.
