With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Abshire of Oak Hill, West Virginia, who passed away on January 27, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Walter Morton and Mae Morton Owens; her husband Jack Nuckols; and her children, Jimmy Bounds, Richard Bounds and Brenda Franklin. She was also cherished by 26 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, and 19 great great grandchildren.
