She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Adkins and Dorothy Tate Havens; and her siblings, Katey Eller, Deborah Fridley and David Havens.

She is survived by: her husband Leroy Gray; her children, Brian (Mary Gray), Rebecca Bennett, Elisabeth (Christopher Blankenship) and Aletheia (John Coleman); and her sisters, Irelene Settle of Salem, VA and Drema Price of Charlton Heights, WV. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
