He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Anthony Hurt, Sr. and Opal L. Williams Hurt; his wife Marjorie Ann Reese Hurt; and his brother Roger Hurt. He is survived by: his brother William Hurt; his daughters, Becky Plumb of New Mexico and Alison Rothenberg of Virginia; his sons-in-law, Robert Plumb and Tom Rothenberg; his siblings, Frank Hurt of Ohio, Joan Davis of Price Hill, Elizabeth Toombs of Mount Hope, Rosemary Hertzler of Wyoming and Donna Brock of Florida; his grandchildren, Nicki Wilson, Brandon Wilson, Megan Jobski and Rick Jobski (Josh Rothenberg); and his friends, Roy, Brenda and Samuel Payne.
