It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera Johnson (Nutter Fort, West Virginia), born in Grant Town, West Virginia, who passed away on September 14, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Qualls and Ruby Qualls; and her sister Joyce. She is survived by: her husband Arthur S. Johnson; her daughters, Renita L. Johnson of Winston Salem, NC and Lisa M. Crawley (David) of Owings Mills, MD; her grandchildren, Alexia M. Crawley of Baltimore, MD, Breanna N. Crawley of Baltimore, MD and Devin M. Tyler of Baltimore, MD; and her sisters, Rosemary of New York, NY, JoAnn Daniels (Melvin) of Silver Spring, MD and Carolyn Richardson (Houston) of Fairmont, WV. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and cousins.
