He is survived by: his father Mark J. Mayer; his stepmother Debbie A. Mayer of Lost Creek; his mother Debra E. Lorenz; his stepfather Richard Lorenz of Florida; his brothers, Jeff Mayer (Bobbie), Patrick Mayer, Ryan, Tyler Lorenz of Florida, Shawn M. Brown (Camilleia Brown) and Michael Davis; his nephew Owen Mayer; his nieces, Brooklyn, Mollie Mayer and Gabrielle Brown; his great-niece Nollee Grace Bumgardner; his stepgrandmother Carolyn V. Sirk; his aunts and uncles, Stephanie Garrett, Mary Mayer, John Mayer and Bill Mayer; his cousins, Stacie Nutter, Sheli Albaugh, Mookie Mayer, JJ Mayer, Mary Kendra Mayer, Jennifer Cogar, Jami O'Dell, Billy Mayer, Matt Mayer and Hunter Mayer; and also Judith Pratt Sirk. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and second cousins.
