He was predeceased by: his parents, Sandy DeMark Sr. and Lorraine Wilson DeMark; and his sisters, Catherine Olsheske and Dorothy "Dottie" McClain. He is survived by: his wife Linda Fowler DeMark; his children, Sandra DeMark of Stonewood, Joe DeMark of Nutter Fort and Greg DeMark of Stonewood; his granddaughters, Jessica Hall of Oklahoma and Michelle Williams of Stonewood; his great grandchild Alexandria Hall of Oklahoma; and his sister Karen Sue Cooper of North Carolina. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family of Mr. DeMark request donations be made in his honor to the Nutter Fort Fire Department, 1415 Buckhannon Pike, Clarksburg, WV 26301.
