With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Shinn (Nutter Fort, West Virginia), born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, who passed away on September 23, 2019 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard A. Shinn and Margaret Jay Shinn; and his brother William R. "Bill" Shinn. He is survived by: his significant other Shirley Courtney of Clarksburg; his children, Richard J. "Rick" Shinn (Sabrina) of Lynchburg, VA and Rebecca L. "Becky" Barnes (John) of Good Hope; his grandchildren, Ben Simmons (Ashley) of Chapel Hill, NC, Jeff Shinn, Brooke Shinn, Blair Shinn of Lynchburg, VA, Krislyn Bacchus-Burton (Bobby) of Nutter Fort, Ryan Bacchus of Nutter Fort, Megan Bacchus of Nutter Fort, Brooklyn Barnes of Good Hope and Mya Barnes of Good Hope; his great grandchildren, Gaige Bacchus, Brantley Bacchus and Chandlar Bacchus; his sister Margaret "Peggy" Smith of Flemington; his niece Tacy Goldsmith (Jimmy); his great-niece Mia of Brandywine, MD; his nephew Phillip "Flip" Elbon (Barbara); his great-nephew Colt Elbon of Flemington; and his great-niece Katie Barker (Luke) of Fairfax, VA..
