We are sad to announce that on August 8, 2023, at the age of 89, Reida W. Cogar of Nutter Fort, West Virginia, born in Buckhannon, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Phenney H. Launtz and Dora M. Launtz (Moreland); and her husband Denver Franklin Cogar, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Denver F. Cogar, Jr. of Nutter Fort, WV, Sandra "Becky" McAtee (Randy) of Fairmont, WV, David Cogar of Lost Creek, WV, Gary Cogar of Clarksburg, WV and Pauletta Summers of Fairmont, WV; and her siblings, Grace Exline, Willis Launtz and Bernice Sumpter. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
