With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lillie Owens of Nutter Fort, West Virginia, born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, who passed away on January 2, 2021 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Asher and Samantha Asher; her husband George W. Owens; and her siblings, Donald Asher, Vance DePass, Geraldine Schweer and Kathleen Starkey.

She is survived by: her sons, George D. Owens of Lake Floyd and Rev. Ron Owens (Karen) of Clarksburg; and her grandchildren, Kristen Payne (Gary), Jeff Owens (Jessie), DJ Owens (JD), Kim Hillard (Robert), Sheri Kennedy (Mark) and Ryan Roberts (Helen). She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.

Because of the current COVID 19 pandemic there will be no visitation or formal service.
