He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Herron and Irene Radcliff Herron; and his siblings, Jimmy Herron, Danny Herron and Doris Skinner.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara A. Shawhan Herron; his daughters, Susan Herron of Mt. Clare and Chera Allman (Kenny) of Buckhannon; his grandson Robert Hurst (Melissa); and his great grandchildren, Worthy Hurst and Liliana Hurst.
