She was predeceased by: her parents, Waymon Robert and Opal Marie Moore Newlon; and her close friend Clayton Collins. She is survived by: her sister Margaret Matheny of Mt. Clare; her niece Robin Osborn of Bridgeport; and her nephews, Bobby Russell of Clarksburg and Glen Matheny, Jr. of Mt. Clare.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home (201 Edison St, Nutter Fort, WV 26301). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at the Center Point Cemetery (201 Edison St, Nutter Fort, WV 26301).
