She was predeceased by: her parents, Enoch Pingley and Monna Channell Pingley; her husband Leon K. Shiflett; and her son Ronald Lee Shiflett. She is survived by: her sons, Mark L. Shiflett (Sherri) of Junior and Matthew K. Shiflett (Janet) of Norton; her sister Edith Abbott of Canton, OH.; and her grandchildren, Marc Leon Shiflett, Camilla Paige Wamsley (Ryan) and Mason Fox.
