He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Looney and Mary Robinette Looney; his wife Mae Looney; his son Michael Looney; and his siblings, Ronnie, Lee, Dewey, James, Eunice, Hazel and Phyllis Looney.
He is survived by: his children, William "Billy" Looney and Martha Christian of North Matewan, WV.; and his grandchildren, Misty Bench, Shawn Bench (Paula), Seth Looney and Tommy Looney. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and neighbors.
