With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mae Looney of North Matewan, West Virginia, who passed away on June 3, 2021 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her parents, Monroe Justice and Martha Neal (Akers); her son Michael Looney; her siblings, Stella Mitchell, Willie Justice, Lacy Justice and Ray Justice; and her half-brother Danny Justice.
She is survived by: her husband Rockford "Buster" Looney of North Matewan, WV; her children, Martha Christian of North Matewan, WV and William "Billy" Looney of Pikeville, KY; her grandchildren, Misty Bench, Shawn Bench (Paula), Seth Looney and Tommy Looney; her great grandchildren, Jordan Dillon, Ethan Dillon, Isabella Bench, Carter Bench, Aubree Oliver, Serenity Looney and Willow Bench; and her siblings, Henry Justice (Helen), Buddy Justice (Irene), Martha Hite (Thomas) and Phyllis Justice. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, loved ones, neighbors and friends.
