He was predeceased by: his parents, George Leonard and Vivian Gillespie (Hatfield). He is survived by: his wife Patty Kay Gillespie of North Matewan, WV; his children, Kara Jane Sutphin of Max Meadows, VA, Stephany Ellis of Hanover, WV and Cole Ward of North Matewan, WV; his son-in-law Danny of Chapmanville, WV; his grandchildren, Kolton, Kenton Sutphin, Devan Ellis, Destiny Ellis and Daylee Ellis; and his great grandchild Dawcyn Smith.
