Rodney Wayne Smith Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rodney Wayne Smith of Normantown, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 30, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Smith and Floda Smith (McCartney); his wife Norma Dean Smith (Kennedy); and his siblings, Nelda Whited, Haymond, Hayward Smith, Melva Krause, Wyonna Stevens and Loretta Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra McNemar (Gene) of Normantown and Randy Smith (Teresa) of West Salem, OH; his brother Rabon Smith (Andrea) of Grafton, OH.; his grandchildren, Jodie Fisher (Wyatt) and Tyler McNemar (Jenna) of Normantown; his stepgrandchildren, Steve Sandy (Tiffany) of West Salem, OH, Stacy Wilson (Josh) and Brandi Christian (Timothy) of Rutledge, TN; and his nephew Harold Smith of Grafton, OH. He is also survived by several step-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 1404 Goodale Blvd #200, Columbus, OH 43212 in honor of Rodney.
