It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Marie Steele of Normantown, West Virginia, who passed away on January 29, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ottie Goodrich and Birdie Goodrich (Parsons); her siblings, Paul, Dale, Warter Goodrich, Etta Furr and Betty Lamp; and her daughter-in-law Kathy Wallbrown.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Dye (Perry) of Big Springs, WV, Jeff Wallbrown of Normantown, Judy Darlene Steele (Jerry Posey) of Walkersville, WV, Norma Reed (Robert) of Normantown, Harley Steele Jr. (JoAnn) of Gassaway, WV and Christopher Steele of Normantown; and her friend Zura Duncan. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins.
