It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Gilbert Casto of Nitro, West Virginia, who passed away on January 6, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Maxine Ruth Williams Casto; his parents, Averil B. and Sarah Anna Cartmill Casto; and his siblings, Gaynel McAdams Casto and Guthrie Casto.

He is survived by: his nephew Gilbert Casto.

“Wayne: a very close friend of my Shirley & me. We visited Wayne & Maxine almost yearly on 7th Street in Nitro. I 1st met Wayne in the Fall of 1954 when stationed at an army base in VA after my Korean War duty. WAYNE: A MOST GENEROUS & FRIENDLY PERSON! A P.S. to Wayne: Shirley went heavenly 27 days after you on Feb 2, 2021. I'm sure you're all 3 there. Have a 3-some visit. I hope someday to make it a 4-some. I thank God for your earthly friendship.
