It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera Lou Boggs of Nitro, West Virginia, born in Wallback, West Virginia, who passed away on December 8, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert Dawson and Oleta Hersman Dawson; her husband Donald "Toddy" Boggs; her siblings, Avis Birthisel, Janice Scott and Virgil Dawson; and her son-in-law Jeff Balser.
She is survived by: her children, Candy, Bruce Knell, Ernie Boggs and Tresa Balser; her grandchildren, Amy, Anthony, Cameron, Selena and Alexandra; her great grandchildren, Madysin, Brayden, Asher and Joel; her brother Junior (Donna Dawson); and her brothers-in-law, Cecil Birthisel, Jarrel Scott and Robert (Ruth Boggs). She is also survived by four step-great-grandchildren.
