He was predeceased by: his parents, Thad Martin and Opal Martin; his grandson Justin Michael Dill; and his siblings, Eddie Martin and Edrie Unrue.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Sue Smith Martin; his children, Tammy Martin Dill (John) and Jay Martin (Michelle); his grandchildren, Sean Dill (Caroline), Emily Dill Simon (Adam), Abigail Martin Grant (Jacob) and Madison Martin; his great grandchildren, Thomas Anthony Dill and Ellie Rita Simon; and his sister Reba Martin Thomas (Don). He is also survived by his four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Nitro Food Bank at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, located at 2004 20th Street, Nitro, WV or to the Alzheimer's Association.
