It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sara Elizabeth Cardenas (Nitro, West Virginia), who passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Gary; her brother Charlie; and her grandparents, Mary, Wanda and Clayton.
She is survived by: her husband Shawn; her children, Kailee Walker (Bailey) and Clayton; her mother Debbie Moss (Pawpaw Charles Carpenter); her parents-in-law, Janice and Alex Cardenas; her aunt Ant Kim; her uncle Troy Dunaway; her nieces and nephews, Andrew, Sam, Sean, Shelby and Emme; her sister-in-law Amie; and her cousin Charles Cyrus (Valerie). She is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Nitro High School (1330 Park Ave, Nitro, WV 25143). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
