Ronald Lee Sowards Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Lee Sowards (Nitro, West Virginia), who passed away on September 22, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Donald R. Sowards, Rodney A. Sowards, Ann Lou Shamblin and Patty Jo Holstein. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Foster Sowards; his children, Larry Sowards, Karen Davis (Bob) and Angela Vance (John); and his sister Wilma Hailey (Larry). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 22 great - grandchildren; three great - great - grandchildren; and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations be made to Hubbard Hospice House West, 4605 MacCorkle Ave., SW, South Charleston, WV 25309.
