He was predeceased by: his parent Cozy Smith; his wife Eleanor Mae Guinn; his son Robert Ralph Guinn; and his stepfather Orville R. Smith. He is survived by: his parent Maycell Guinn Smith; and his children, Michael Ray Guinn (Joann), Patrick James Guinn (Marianne), Catherine Mae Larch and Pamela Deanne Hinst (James).
