He is survived by: his wife Wanda Chapman; his children, Julia Denise Lovejoy and Phillip Roger Chapman II (Christy); his stepchildren, Billie Huffman (Larry), Michael Lanham and Scott Holcomb (Kacie); his grandchildren, Seneca Lovejoy and Emma Lovejoy; his stepgrandchildren, Holly Woods, Casey Huffman, Scott Huffman, Jeremy Samples, Josh Samples Addison Huffman, Brody Huffman, Kaitlynn Young, Mahailey Nicholson, Marissa Holcomb and Gabriel Holcomb; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Cameron Woods and Aubree Woods; and his siblings, Ralph Chapman (Barbara) and Judith Crowder (John). He is also survived by friends and other family members.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent in memory of Roger to the organization Folds of Honor to provide scholarships to spouses and children of America's fallen and disabled service members.
