It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Allen Stone of Nitro, West Virginia, who passed away on December 18, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Michael Allen shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Michael Allen farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Eugene and Glenna Cooper Stone; and his siblings, Darrell Stone and Janet Hall. He is survived by: his wife Judy Gibson Stone; his sons, Michael Allen Stone, Jr. (Lori) and Chad Everette Stone (Joanna); his siblings, Edward "Ebby" Stone (Viola) and Marietta Burford (Charlie); his grandchildren, Lauren and Maddie Stone; and his pet Birdie.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gatens-Harding Funeral Home (147 Main St, Poca, WV 25159).
