She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Felix and Arminta Ellen Smith Propps of Kathryn, WV.; her husband Bertie DeWeese; and her children, Karen Sue Dent, David Wayne DeWeese and William Franklin "Bill" Murray. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
