She was predeceased by: her husband James Hackett; her parents, Lewis West and Althea West; her brothers, Lewis, Robert West of Pittsburg and Harold West of St. Albans; and her grandson Lee Kessel of Charleston.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Noel of Charleston, Jeanne Beard (Dayton) of Cross Lanes, Michael Hackett of Greenwood and James Hackett, Jr. (Jo) of St. Cloud, Florida.. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
Due to the corona virus there will be a walk thru visitation for family and friends to pay their respects from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm Friday July 31, 2020 at Gatens-Harding Funeral Home Chapel.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Hospice Care 1606 Kanawha Blvd. W. Charleston WV 25387.
