She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lucas and Donna Lucas; her husband Ivan Gillespie; and her siblings, Mary Barnett, Phyllis Clendenin, Reba Jo Maynard, Alice Daugherty, Helen Lucas, Ed Lucas, Harry Lucas and Anna Mae Donohue.
She is survived by: her children, Matt Gillespie and Tammy Pauley (Eddie); her sister Jackie Whittington; her grandchildren, Amber Gillespie, Matthew Gillespie, Alicia Pauley, Heather Herndon (Brian), Keysha Pearson (Zach) and Jasmine Gillespie; and her great grandchildren, Hannah, Coda, Abel, Addy, Wren and Braxton.
