He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest W. Ellis Sr. (Ernie) and Bertha B. Burgess Ellis of Charleston, WV; and his siblings, Donsal Ellis and Wilda Ellis. He is survived by: his friend Albert; his wife Sherry Ellis of Cross Lanes, WV; his children, Lonzel Ellis Jr. (Leanne) of Poca, WV, Chris Ellis (Jessica) of Cross Lanes, Heather McDaniel (Cecil) of Charleston and Shaun Ellis of Poca; his siblings, Ernest W. Ellis Jr. (Ernie) of Saint Albans, Paul Ellis (Jan) of Bristol, VA, Kathryn Horton of Dayton and Wanda Goodwin of Cross Lanes; and his stepchildren, Stephen Boggess and Amanda Boggess. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
