John Rutherford Seydel Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 24, 2019, at the age of 101, John Rutherford Seydel (Nitro, West Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Bernard Seydel of Brussels and Mildred Woolley Seydel of Atlanta; his former wife Jane Reynolds Seydel; his wife Mildred Blalock Hunt Seydel; his brother Paul Vasser Seydel; and his grandson Stuart Hayman Hunt.
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Seydel Morgan (Buffy), Scott O'Sullivan Seydel, Susan Seydel Cofer and Mildred Seydel (Mimi); and also, Pat Mitchell (Scott), Carl H., Cofer (Susan) and Guy H. Hunt (Mimi). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
