With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John L. Bowcott (Nitro, West Virginia), who passed away on September 6, 2018 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent John Austin (Bud); his son David Bowcott; his sibling Leroy Stevens; his brother-in-law Charles Stevens; and also Phyllis Stevens.
He is survived by: his parent Sylvia Meadows Bowcott; his wife Phyllis; his children, Cheri Dillon (Chuck), Sheila Harvey (Tim) and Gregory Hodges; and his daughter-in-law Alesia Willis.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations in his name be made to Twin City Bible Church, c/o Building Fund, 100 First Avenue Nitro, WV or a charity of choice.
